The purchase state is part of the product.
These terms explain the state labels used by usb-c.store. The state shown on the product page and at checkout—concept, test order, paid preorder or normal order—controls what the action means.
Concepts and reservations
A concept or no-charge reservation is not an order, payment, stock promise or guaranteed launch date. Target specifications, prices and compatibility remain subject to exact-model verification.
Stripe test orders
A Stripe test order moves no real money, creates no fulfilment obligation and is used only to validate the store workflow. Test card data must never be replaced with a real card.
Paid preorders
A paid preorder charges the amount shown and allocates an incoming unit. Dispatch depends on receiving and inspecting the exact unit. You may cancel for a full refund before fulfilment starts. If we cannot fulfil the preorder, we will refund it.
Product evidence
Product pages separate verified facts from targets and research. Compatibility, certification, manufacturing origin and performance claims apply only when tied to the exact production model and stated evidence.
